Boot Camp Information

IN-PERSON BOOT CAMP IS NOW OVER. New enrollments can attend boot camp virtually via their Cyber Academy Home Canvas course.

Cyber boot camp this year will be hosted in-person at the Annex on the first day of Cyber school, Tuesday, September 6, 2022, and Wednesday, September 7, 2022. There will be two sessions each day (morning and afternoon). You only need to attend one session. If you have already attended our Cyber Academy in the past or are a CCCTC student, then you do not have to attend this year. If you have not attended our Cyber Academy in the past, you must attend the boot camp either in person or virtually. If you’re attending virtually (including CCCTC students), a series of assignments will be assigned to you via the Cyber Academy Home 2022-2023 Canvas course. If you’re attending in person, the address for the Alice Shafer Annex is: 220 W School Drive, Linesville, PA 16424.

Please fill out the brief RSVP form at the link below before 3:00pm on Wednesday, August 31, 2022, and indicate if you’ll be coming in for boot camp or attending virtually. Again, if you’ve already been a Cyber student in the past, you do not need to attend in-person or virtually. If attending in-person, transportation must be provided by the family to and from the boot camp. If you have more than one child attending the Cyber Academy this year, fill out the form once for each child.

The following sessions are available to sign up for (you only need to attend one session):

  • Tuesday, September 6, 2022 from 9:00 am - 11:30 am
  • Tuesday, September 6, 2022 from 12:30 pm - 3:00 pm
  • Wednesday, September 7, 2022 from 9:00 am - 11:30 am
  • Wednesday, September 7, 2022 from 12:30 pm - 3:00 pm

If the student still has a Chromebook from the previous school year, they must bring this CHARGED Chromebook ready to be used at the boot camp. If a student has one, they should also bring their own personal cellphone/smart device. If you don't have a working Chromebook, you must email Troy Messerall, Supervisor of Online Learning and Digital Resources, before 3:00pm on Wednesday, August 31, 2022, using this email address: tmesserall@conneautsd.org. New 9th graders will get a new Chromebook at the boot camp.

If you are not attending the boot camp but have cyber materials to pick up for your classes (like a fitness tracker for Cyber Physical Education), then you will be able to pick those up in the Annex gym on the same dates as the boot camp between 7:30 am and 5:00 pm.
